Abstract :

Aim of the present study was enumeration of plant diversity of lower watershed region of Tamiraparani River in Papanasam at KMTR region, Tirunelveli District, Tamilnadu. The results were revealed that 30 species of angiosperm, 6 species of pteridophytes and 1 species of gymnosperm identified in the region. The identification of plants species of the KMTR region of Papanasum is more economically important species.
